Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA have rescued three kidnapped in Kaduna State.

The Nigerian Army disclosed this in an operational report made available to journalists on Tuesday in Abuja.

It said the operatives followed a swift response to a distress call in Kushere Village.

The army revealed that the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, when bandits invaded the community and abducted three residents.

The Force listed the victims as Abdullahi, Saidu Julfe and Kamilu Joddi.

The report read: “Troops deployed from Forward Operating Base (FOB) Dokan Karji received the distress call at about 1:00 a.m. and immediately mobilised to the area.

“On arrival, it was discovered that the bandits had already fled the community with the victims towards the Kafin Gora axis.

“The troops swiftly pursued the kidnappers, leading to an exchange of fire during which the three victims were successfully rescued.

“The criminals fled under pressure from troops, abandoning the victims.”
