President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the sum of ₦2 billion as emergency relief for victims of the recent attacks in Plateau State.

The approval is intended to provide immediate support and aid to families affected by the violence, particularly those impacted in the Angwan Rukuba community in Jos North LGA.

This gesture forms part of the Federal Government’s response to the tragic incident, which claimed several lives and displaced many residents.

The funds will assist with humanitarian needs, including medical support, shelter, and other essentials for the victims.

The move comes shortly after President Tinubu visited Plateau State to commiserate with the affected communities and assured them of justice and lasting security measures.
