“If The Cost of Loving Her is More Than Your Cost Of Living, Dump Her” – Reno Omokri

Nigeria’s current ambassador to Mexico and social commentator, Reno Omokri, has sparked conversations online after sharing strong opinions about relationships, financial responsibility, and dating culture.

In a post making rounds on social media, Omokri warned men against staying in relationships that place heavy financial burdens on them. According to him, men should walk away from relationships where the “cost of loving” a woman becomes higher than their personal cost of living.

He stated that if a man finds himself constantly struggling financially to maintain a romantic relationship, it may be wiser to leave and allow the woman find someone who can comfortably meet her expectations.

The former presidential aide further advised men to focus on protecting their finances and businesses rather than trying excessively to impress romantic partners.

“If you must maintain anything as a man, let it be your money, not your honey, and your business, not your sweetness,” he wrote.

Omokri also noted that occasional luxury and romantic outings are understandable, but making extravagant spending a daily habit could create financial instability and emotional pressure.

He stressed that a man’s major financial responsibility should be towards his wife, adding that constantly funding the lifestyle of other women could negatively affect a man’s future growth and success.
