Flamingos to Thrash Guinea 5-0 In U-17 W/Cup Qualifier

New Flamingos coach Akeem Busari got off to a flying start today when Harmony Chidi grabbed a first-half hat-trick for his team to shoot down hosts Guinea 5-0 in a 2026 U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier.

Harmony Chidi hit target in the first, 13th and 40th minutes.

The other goal scorers were Oluwakemi Adegbuyi in the 37th minute and Mary Dunstan on 56 minutes.

The match was played in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, because Guinea could not provide a standard arena.
The return leg will be played in Nigeria on May 30.
