Oyo Abduction: Your Inactions Could Cost Tinubu The 2027 Election — Primate Ayodele Warns Remi Tinubu

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has criticized First Lady Remi Tinubu over her response to the recent abduction of schoolchildren in Oyo State, saying her actions do not reflect those of a concerned mother.

Speaking during a meeting with women on Friday, the cleric expressed disappointment that the First Lady had not publicly demanded the safe return of the abducted students. He warned that her approach to such national issues could negatively affect President Bola Tinubu’s chances in the 2027 general election.

According to Ayodele, the First Lady should have taken a more active stance, similar to interventions made by former First Lady Patience Jonathan during national crises. He argued that while children remained in captivity, attention appeared focused on political activities rather than advocacy for their rescue.

His remarks come shortly after Remi Tinubu donated vehicles to women leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in five opposition-controlled states during the inauguration of the Tinubu Torchbearers, a pro-Tinubu support group, at the State House banquet hall in Abuja.
