The 2026 FIFA World Cup taking place in the United States, Canada and Mexico, has witnessed nine African qualify for the round of 32.

In Europe, 13 teams advanced to the knockout stage. They are: Germany, Netherlands, Norway, France, Sweden, England, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Spain, Austria, Portugal, Croatia and Switzerland.

No Oceanian team made it to the next round while, only Japan and Australia, from Asia, advanced to the round of 32.

For the north and central America, only three teams are in the next stage, while Brazil, Paraguay, Ecuador, Argentina and Colombia, from South Africa are in the knockout stage.
