KADUNA, NIGERIA – The Kaduna State Government has officially commenced the 2026 civil service examination to confirm the appointments of 3,000 newly recruited civil servants across the state.

The computer-based testing exercise opened on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre of the Kaduna State University (KASU) Main Campus, Kaduna.

The assessment is being conducted by the Office of the Head of Service in partnership with Kumesh Integrated Concept Ltd.

Monitoring the exercise at the KASU ICT Centre, the Kaduna State Head of Service, Mrs. Jummai Bako, emphasized that passing the Civil Service Confirmation Examination (CAC) is a statutory prerequisite for transitioning from probationary status into the state’s permanent pensionable establishment.

Mrs. Bako outlined that confirmation grants officers full administrative privileges, including eligibility for formal study leave, in-service training programs, and official transfers of service across government arms.

Broad Institutional Scope and Technical Breakdown

The examination structure is segmented into five technical modules tailored to evaluate cadre-specific competencies, administrative regulations, financial rules, legal frameworks, and general knowledge regarding state and national development policies.

Mrs. Bako expressed gratitude to the Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, for releasing the necessary funds to execute the exercise and for prioritizing civil servants’ welfare through salary adjustments and prompt payment cycles.

She assured the government that the civil service remains committed to driving state policies with maximum efficiency and dedication.
