Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of Dr. Mann Ali as the Chairman of the Ondo State Civil Service Commission.

The governor also approved the appointment of Mr. Michael Oshodi as a member of the commission, according to a statement posted on X on Thursday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.

The statement said the two appointees, both former permanent secretaries in the Ondo State Public Service, will replace the former chairman, Mr. Ajose Kudehinbu, and another commission member whose five-year tenure expired in June 2026.

Announcing the appointments, the statement said, “The Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of Dr. Mann Ali as the Chairman of the Ondo State Civil Service Commission.”

It added that, “The governor also appointed Mr. Michael Oshodi as a member of the Commission.”

The statement further explained that the appointments are intended to fill vacancies created following the expiration of the tenure of the outgoing officials.

It also noted that “the two new appointees, who are former permanent secretaries in the state’s public service, are to replace the former chairman, Mr. Ajose Kudehinbu and another member whose five-year tenure ended in June 2026.”

According to the statement, the appointments are not yet final, as “the new appointments are subject to confirmation by a resolution of the State House of Assembly.”
