ALHAJI Mohammed Muluku, Nasarawa State Commissioner for Water Resources and Rural Development, has urged APC leaders in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area to remain loyal to the party and support Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration.
Muluku, who is also overseeing the ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, made the call on Wednesday when he received the APC local government executives and ward chairmen in his office in Lafia.
He cautioned them against anti-party activities, saying that their continued loyalty and support would enable the people to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
“As executive members of the APC, I urge you to be loyal to the party and Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration.
“Your loyalty to the APC and His Excellency, Engr. A.A. Sule, should be 100 per cent,” he said.
Muluku urged the party leaders to promote unity and teamwork and protect the interests of the party at all times.
He assured them that the Sule administration would continue to initiate people-oriented projects to promote the development of Nasarawa State.
Earlier, Mr Likita John, APC Chairman in Nasarawa Eggon LGA, said that the visit was to congratulate Muluku on his appointment as overseeing Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism.
John assured the commissioner of the party’s prayers and support, describing him as one of the best commissioners to have been appointed from the local government since the creation of the state.
He also commended Sule for his developmental strides across the state and assured him of the party’s continued loyalty and support. (NAN)
