The Allied People’s Movement (APM) has organized a political awareness campaign for women in Dass Local Government Area of Bauchi State to encourage greater participation in politics and strengthen the party’s structure at both the state and national levels.
The event, held on August 1, 2026, at the Wandi Hall in Dass, attracted women from various communities across the local government area.
Speakers at the programme stressed the importance of unity among women, peaceful participation in politics, and active contributions to community development and the growth of the APM.
The campaign received the support of prominent party leaders, including the APM’s Bauchi South Senatorial candidate, Bala A. Muhammad, and the party’s Bauchi State governorship candidate, Dr. Yakubu Adamu. The programme was coordinated by Hajiya Hafsat Ahmad Dass, the APM Women Coordinator in Dass Local Government Area.
Participants commended the initiative and pledged to continue supporting the party’s ideals while encouraging more women to become actively involved in politics.
The programme ended with prayers for peace, unity, and the development of Bauchi State and Nigeria. Participants also urged women to pursue education, acquire vocational skills, and take up leadership roles to contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
