Veteran Nigerian actor and musician, Harry B Anyanwu has appealed to Nollywood actors, actresses and members of the public to support actress Maureen Okpoko, who reportedly lost her sight several years ago.

In a video circulating online, Harry B Anyanwu said he was with Maureen Okpoko in Enugu and called on the Nigerian film industry to assist her in getting treatment.

“I am right here in Enugu with my sister of inestimable value, Maureen Okpoko. Nollywood, let’s reach out to her and support her. She’s blind, but she can restore her sight,” he said.

Harry B Anyanwu also appealed to his colleagues in Nollywood to come together and help Maureen Okpoko access the medical care she needs, expressing hope that her sight could be restored.
