Adidas and Liverpool FC have unveiled the new away jersey for the 2026/27 season, a design inspired by the club’s iconic away kits of the mid-1980s.
Featuring the adidas Trefoil logo and a heritage Liver Bird crest, the jersey celebrates one of the most memorable periods in Liverpool’s history while combining modern performance innovation with football culture and style.
Drawing inspiration from the away shirt worn during 1985-88, the design revisits an era synonymous with some of the club’s most celebrated teams and players. It was a period that helped define Liverpool’s identity on and off the pitch, creating lasting memories for generations of supporters and establishing a visual legacy that remains influential today.
Built on a clean white base, the jersey is complemented by strawberry red and grey detailing throughout. The colour palette takes inspiration from classic Liverpool away kits of the era, delivering a look that feels familiar while being modern in its execution.
