Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has revealed what he would ask God if given the chance.

Speaking to his supporters, the former Anambra State governor said that as a politician, he would question why God permitted him to step out of his comfort zone into politics.

“I’m a politician today, but if I ever have the opportunity to question God, I would ask Him why He allowed me to leave my comfort place and get involved in politics,” Obi said.

He added that wherever people find themselves is where God wants them to be, and they must work for the benefit of the masses.

“I’m here by the grace of God and I must not abuse His grace, whether it’s in a private, corporate, or in government,” he stated.

Obi’s political journey began as governor under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). He later joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and served as its presidential running mate.

In 2023, he defected to the Labour Party (LP), where he ran for president and finished third. He is now seeking the presidency in 2027 on the NDC platform.
