Umar Namadi, governor of Jigawa State has sworn in one Technical Adviser and five Special Advisers, charging them to uphold integrity, accountability and teamwork in the discharge of their responsibilities.

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Monday at the Government House in Dutse.

Speaking after administering the Oath of Office, Governor Namadi said the appointments were made after careful consideration, describing the new appointees as individuals with the competence and character needed to support his administration.

“These appointments were made after careful consideration. The citations we heard and the confidence they enjoy from their communities show that they possess the knowledge, integrity, and experience our administration has always sought,” the governor said.

He noted that although the appointees come from different parts of the state, they have already demonstrated a spirit of unity, which he described as essential to achieving the administration’s development agenda.

“They come from different parts of the state yet already demonstrate a strong spirit of unity. That unity is exactly what we need as we work together to deliver on our shared vision of a Greater Jigawa,” he added.

Governor Namadi reminded the newly inaugurated advisers that public office is a trust that must be exercised with sincerity and commitment to the people.

Expressing confidence in the appointees, the governor said they would work harmoniously with other members of his administration to advance the state’s development.

Governor Namadi also appreciated all political appointees serving in his administration for their commitment to the state’s progress.

“To them and to all those already serving in this administration, I say thank you for your willingness to contribute your quota to the progress of our state,” he said.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering good governance and improving the lives of Jigawa residents.
