Nigerian singer, Chigozie Godsfavour, popularly known as Fave, has shared her disappointment after receiving an anonymous bouquet of flowers, saying she does not appreciate gifts from people who refuse to identify themselves.

In a video posted on her official social media page, the singer displayed the bouquet and questioned why anyone would send flowers without including their name.

According to Fave, the flowers arrived with a handwritten note on what she described as an ordinary piece of paper instead of a proper greeting card. 

She added that the sender did not leave a name or contact her afterwards to confirm whether she had received the bouquet.

“Nobody should send me flowers if it’s not something worthy of my appreciation,” she said.

Fave said including a name would have at least let her know who sent the gift.

“I don’t even know who sent it. Nobody has reached out to ask if I received it. If they had written their name, I would at least know who sent it,” she said.

The singer also questioned the decision to remain anonymous, saying the gesture did not impress her.

“It is not even an actual card, and you want to be anonymous? I actually do not want to know who you are,” she added.
