A Peace Mass Transit (PMT) bus was completely destroyed by fire following an overheating incident along the Enugu Road near Thinkers Corner in Enugu State.

The 18-seater commercial bus reportedly developed excessive heat while in motion, causing thick smoke to fill the vehicle. Passengers quickly alerted the driver, who immediately pulled over by the roadside.

All passengers were able to evacuate safely with their belongings before the bus was engulfed in flames.

The fire rapidly consumed the vehicle, leaving it completely burnt. No casualties or injuries were reported as of the time of filing this report.
