The management of the 16 Alexander Tower project in Ikoyi has assured prospective investors and the public that the luxury high-rise development is being executed with the highest standards of structural integrity, safety and quality, describing the project as one of Lagos’ most ambitious premium residential developments.
This assurance was given by the Marketing and Real Estate Agent for the project, Chief M. I. Okoro, during the official facility tour of the 16 Alexander Tower construction site by members of the Property and Environment Writers Association of Nigeria (PEWAN) in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday, August 7, 2026.

Addressing journalists after the inspection tour, Okoro said the engagement formed part of the developer’s deliberate policy of maintaining transparency and ensuring that critical stakeholders are carried along throughout the construction process.
He explained that opening the project to media scrutiny at the construction stage demonstrates the developer’s commitment to delivering a structurally sound, safe and commercially viable investment for homeowners and investors.
“The facility tour and press briefing are part of the deliberate policy of the Chairman and Management of 16 Alexander Tower to engage the public and critical stakeholders while ensuring that every aspect of the project guarantees structural stability, integrity, safety and long-term investment value,” he said.
According to him, quality construction begins from the foundation stage, stressing that every component of the project has been carefully planned to ensure durability and sustained property appreciation.
“It is at this stage of development that every eye must be involved to ensure that the viability and rental appreciation of the property are never compromised, so that anyone purchasing a unit today or in the future can be confident they have made a wise investment decision,” Okoro stated.

He noted that the developer deliberately assembled some of Nigeria’s most experienced construction and engineering firms with decades of expertise in high-rise developments to guarantee international best practices throughout the project.
The project team includes Cappa and D’Alberto Plc as the main contractor handling the construction and civil engineering works, Baron Architectural as the lead architectural consultants, Trevi Foundations responsible for specialist piling and deep foundation works, while Lambert Electronic Ltd is overseeing the mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations.
Okoro described the combination of these firms as one of the strongest professional teams assembled for a high-rise residential project in Nigeria.
“From the quality of professionals engaged and their proven track records spanning over three decades, 16 Alexander Tower represents a secure investment destination in terms of structural stability and integrity because the foundation and structure remain the bedrock of every development of this nature,” he added.
The luxury development is designed to provide residents with an array of premium lifestyle amenities, including a wellness and recreation clubhouse, an infinity swimming pool with pool deck, a modern gymnasium, sauna and spa facilities, squash court, yoga and meditation spaces, 24-hour concierge and security services, panoramic city views and secure parking with two dedicated parking spaces for each apartment in addition to visitors’ parking.
Okoro disclosed that all the recreational facilities would be located on the sixth floor, creating an exclusive leisure environment reserved for residents and their accredited guests.
He observed that the scale and quality of the amenities are uncommon among existing high-rise residential developments in Lagos.
The development occupies approximately 4,276 square metres of land, with the architectural design maximising circulation spaces while maintaining functionality and aesthetics.
Providing an update on construction progress, Okoro revealed that work has reached the 17th floor, leaving only four additional floors before the structure attains its planned height of 21 storeys.
He expressed confidence that construction would be completed on or before December 31, 2027.
Earlier, he commended members of PEWAN for successfully completing the inspection tour without incident and encouraged journalists to direct technical questions to the consultants and contractors present at the event.
He reaffirmed the developer’s commitment to openness, quality delivery and adherence to global construction standards, expressing optimism that the completed tower would become one of Ikoyi’s most desirable residential addresses while offering strong long-term returns for investors.
Located along Alexander Road in upscale Ikoyi, 16 Alexander Tower is a high-end luxury residential development featuring modern contemporary design, expansive glass facades, wrap-around balconies, and premium amenities such as elevated leisure decks, recreational facilities, and underground parking.
