In the eighth and final part of his tell-all video series, singer Peter Okoye shared more details about his strained relationship with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, and elder brother, Jude Okoye.

Peter revealed that their late mother had embraced his wife, Lola Omotayo, long before they got married, affectionately referring to her as “our wife.” He also praised Lola for the support she gave their mother while she was hospitalized in Lagos before her passing.

He expressed disappointment over what he described as Paul breaking a childhood agreement they made to name their first sons after each other’s Igbo names. According to Peter, he fulfilled the promise by naming his first son, Nonso, in honour of Paul, but Paul did not reciprocate, choosing the name Obumneme for his own first son instead of Peter’s Igbo name.

Peter also alleged that Jude deliberately refused to attend his wedding to Lola. He claimed that Jude scheduled a PSquare performance in Ghana a day before the wedding, leaving him to prepare for the ceremony without adequate support.

According to Peter, Jude further hurt him by posting a photo of himself in a recording studio with D’banj, Don Jazzy, and other celebrities on the day of the wedding. He also alleged that Jude made a comment suggesting that if their late mother had been alive, his marriage to Lola would never have taken place. Peter noted that although several of the celebrities seen in Jude’s post later attended the wedding, Jude, who was then their manager and elder brother, stayed away.

Peter further claimed that when Jude later got married to Ify, neither he nor Lola received aso-ebi, which he interpreted as a sign that they were not invited. In response, he said he posted a photo of himself relaxing with friends at home while Jude’s wedding was taking place.

He alleged that after the wedding, Paul confronted him for what he considered disrespect toward their elder brother. Peter said he responded by pointing out that if respect was based on age, then Lola, who is older than Jude, also deserved respect. According to him, that response angered both Paul and Jude.

Peter concluded by saying the eighth episode would be the last in his tell-all series. However, he added that he would still respond to a recent video released by Jude, in which Jude denied allegations that he defrauded him.
