Singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has responded to claims made by his twin brother, Peter Okoye (Mr P), alleging that their late mother mistreated his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye.
Mr P made the allegations in the eighth episode of his ongoing video series chronicling the P-Square family feud.
He recounted a tense family meeting at their Omole residence, where he claimed his mother, brothers Jude, Paul, and Tony, alongside pastors, confronted him and Lola, asking her to leave him.
According to Mr P, Lola was denied a seat during the meeting and later pushed out of the house in tears.
He also alleged that Jude referred to his infant son as a “bastard” and that both Jude and Paul opposed Lola’s pregnancy, even circulating an anonymous email questioning the child’s paternity.
Mr P insisted his mother later admitted the child was his and asked his brothers to apologise before her death, but said the apology never came.
He also rejected claims that Lola disliked his mother, stressing that she cared for her during her illness. In what appeared to be a subtle defence of their mother, Rudeboy posted on social media:
“Unfortunately, you’re not here to defend yourself. Continue resting, Mum.”
The latest exchange adds another layer to the long-running dispute between the Okoye brothers, which has spanned issues of royalties, management, and the collapse of their reunion.
While Mr P continues to air grievances publicly, Rudeboy has largely avoided direct confrontation, with his management stating he remains focused on his music career.
