Seven years after becoming a household name on Big Brother Naija, reality TV star and media personality Tacha has said she is ready to embrace a different chapter of her life—one centred on meaningful friendships and genuine human connections.

The outspoken influencer said that while the years since leaving the reality show have brought immense growth and transformed her life in ways she never imagined, they have also made her realise what she had overlooked in the pursuit of success.

Reflecting on her journey, Tacha explained that she had spent the better part of the last seven years chasing dreams, setting new goals and working relentlessly to build a career that has now earned her recognition within and outside Nigeria.

According to her, that single-minded pursuit of excellence left little room to intentionally nurture friendships or create a circle of people she could genuinely call her community.

She admitted that ambition often demanded all her attention, making work the centre of her life while personal relationships gradually took a back seat.

Tacha said she has now reached a point where success alone is no longer enough, insisting that healthy friendships and dependable relationships are equally important.

“I think it is time to slow down and cultivate healthy friendships,” she wrote.

She added that she wants to become more intentional about showing up for people who truly matter to her and surrounding herself with individuals who are willing to offer the same sincerity, loyalty and support in return.

The media personality noted that life is not measured only by achievements and milestones but also by the quality of relationships built along the way, saying she hopes to create lasting bonds that extend beyond work and public life.

Tacha rose to prominence during the 2019 edition of Big Brother Naija and has since built a successful career as a media personality, entrepreneur and brand influencer.
