The 13-day fasting and prayer period for the annual Tabieorar Festival of The Church of the Lord Worldwide begins on Monday August 10 leading up to the grand finale on August 22, 2026.

The landmark 90th annual Tabieorar celebration was first held on the 22nd August 1937 at the Holy Mount Tabieorar ground at Kilometer 60, Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, Ogere Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria.

The theme for the 90th historic Tabieorar Festival of The Church of the Lord (TCL) Worldwide in 2026 is “Faithful & Glorious God”, tagged as a “Celebration of God’s Faithfulness” over nine decades.

The Tabieorar festival is celebrated every year on the 22nd of August, but the festivities itself is a period of thirteen days during which all members of the Church fast and pray to God. People all over the world always attend the festival yearly. The Tabieorar festival is not only popular today, but it has become universally essential for all members of the Church.

At the grand finale on August 22, Rufus Okikiola Ositelu, the Primate of the church will mount the high altar for the thirteen blessings prayer point at the prayer ground.

This will be the high point of the event, as they all prayed for forgiveness of sins, cleansing, mercy, blessings, good children, victory over life’s battles, salvation, healing, joy, favor, the Holy Spirit, and steadfastness

The Tabieorar festival has become a festival for all today. It is being attended nowadays by Hundreds of Thousands of people from all denominations.

The Church which celebrated its official centenary (100th anniversary) from November 17 to 24, 2025 was founded by the late Josiah Olunowo Ositelu, who received his divine call in 1925.

Celebrations centered at the international headquarters in Ogere-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria, commemorating a century of spiritual growth, global expansion, and the foundational ministry established in 1925.
