Questions have been raised over the educational qualifications of Chief Nweke Kingsley Chizoba, popularly known as Odaa Opuo, who is being promoted as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Enugu East Senatorial District in the 2027 elections.
According to allegations circulating online, Chizoba did not attend primary school or university and allegedly submitted only a West African Examinations Council (WAEC) certificate obtained in 2005, when he was reportedly 21 years old, to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The claims have sparked debate among political observers, particularly over how the alleged WAEC qualification was obtained if he did not undergo primary education.
However, the allegations have not been independently verified, and no official statement from INEC or Chizoba was immediately available to substantiate or refute the claims.
Chizoba has been actively promoted by supporters ahead of the 2027 Enugu East senatorial contest, with several recent social media posts describing him as the PDP candidate and urging voters to support his bid.
