The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has fixed the final fare for the 2026 Hajj at ₦7 million per pilgrim, while retaining August 25, 2026, as the deadline for registration.

The Director-General of the Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, announced the fare and deadline in a statement signed by the Board’s Public Relations Officer, Sulaiman A. Dederi.

Matawalle urged intending pilgrims who are yet to complete their registration formalities, particularly those who have not submitted their international passports, to do so before the expiration of the deadline.

He warned that the Board would not extend the August 25 deadline, urging intending pilgrims and other stakeholders to comply with the directive to avoid inconvenience.

The Director-General said the Board remained committed to providing effective and efficient services to intending pilgrims and ensuring a smooth and successful Hajj operation.

He called on all prospective pilgrims to take note of the final fare and registration deadline and make the necessary arrangements accordingly.
