Award-winning international gospel artist Mercy Chinwo brought Suriname to life with a powerful night of worship, as she drew thousands for her live concert in the South American nation recently.

It was a night filled with music, worship and memorable moments, with a large number of young people in attendance. Beyond the music, one of the most special moments of the night was seeing many people respond to the message of the Gospel and give their lives to Christ.

The visit also included a special reception for Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, by the President of Suriname, Her Excellency Jennifer Geerlings-Simons.

For Mercy Chinwo, the Suriname concert was another beautiful reminder of how music and faith can connect people beyond borders, languages and cultures.

From Africa to South America, her message remains simple: sharing the love, hope and message of Jesus Christ through music.
