The exercise was conducted by the Presiding Officer, Oyeranmi Deborah, with voters and party agents present as the ballots were sorted and counted.

P.M. NEWS correspondents monitoring the election across Osogbo reported that several polling units had concluded voting and were at various stages of sorting and counting their ballots.

At Polling Unit 39, Ward 4, the Accord Party, with candidate Ademola Adeleke, secured the highest number of votes with 65, followed by the All Progressives Congress (APC), which scored 43 votes.

The results declared at the polling unit are as follows:

  • Accord Party – 65
  • APC – 43
  • ADC – 2
  • AA – 1
  • AAC – 1
  • ZLP – 1

The result was announced by the Presiding Officer after the completion of the counting exercise.

More results are expected from other polling units as the counting and collation process continues across Osun State.
