African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate for 2027, Omoyele Sowore, has responded to Afrobeat star Davido after the singer referred to him as “arindin” on social media.

In a post on his official X handle, Sowore redirected the insult toward Davido’s uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, questioning his academic credentials.

“The real arindin is your uncle, @AAdeleke_01, who had to go back and obtain the equivalent of a GED after he had already served as a Nigerian Senator,” Sowore wrote.

He further alleged that Governor Adeleke supported President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 presidential election, claiming the move was intended to protect the Adeleke family’s political interests in Osun State.

“The real arindin is your uncle who chose @officialABAT as his presidential candidate, apparently hoping that imbecilic political loyalty would allow your family to continue treating Osun State as a private estate to finance your extravagant lifestyle,” Sowore added.

The exchange has intensified tensions around the Osun governorship election, drawing attention to both political and personal rivalries.
