Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has revealed that money is her love language, while admitting that she enjoys receiving all forms of affection.

Speaking during her Dazed DNA interview, the hitmaker was asked about her love language and responded, “My love language is… money.”
She added, “Acts of service, also love quality time. Also love words of affirmation. Yeah, I love all the love languages, to be honest. I want it all.”

Ayra Starr also opened up about how she manages her energy ahead of performances, revealing that she logs off when she feels drained.
“Energy wrong, I log off. Because facts. Just making sure I rest before I get on stage, centering myself, and take a shot of tequila, you know,” she said.

The singer was also asked about fashion choices, particularly jorts,  jean shorts, and made it clear that fans should be suspicious if they ever see her wearing them.
“Jorts. I’ve been there, done that. I don’t know, it looks nice on some people. On me though, I just don’t like that. If you see me wear jorts, I’ve been cloned,” she said.

On what she watches to unwind, Ayra Starr said she turns to Yoruba movies on YouTube.
“Yoruba movies on YouTube, top! Like, amazing, like that helps me decompress,” she revealed.

The singer also described herself as a true Gemini and joked about the people she gets along with.
“Yes, I’m a true Gemini, and I feel like I vibe with everybody. People tend to love me. Side eye to Scorpio men, though. Side eye to men in general. But yeah.”

When asked about a book she returns to for inspiration, Ayra Starr pointed to the Bible.
“Book I go back to for inspiration is the Bible. That’s the best book in the world. It has all the secrets to life.”

She concluded by reflecting on her approach to life, saying, “I’m not always going to have the answers and I’m not always going to get it right, but I’m going to try every single time.”
