AS part of their preparation for the U-20 Women’s World Cup, Nigeria’s Falconets will take on Poland and Korea Republic in international friendly matches to test their might for the mundial.

The Coach Moses Aduku’s led side are currently in camp in Abuja, where they have played a couple of friendlies matches to test their readiness.

The team is expected to depart for Poland on Monday, 24 August, for the final phase of their preparations.

The two friendly encounters will provide Aduku with an opportunity to fine-tune his team’s strategies ahead of the World Cup.

Nigeria have been drawn in Group F alongside Spain, China and New Caledonia.

The Falconets will begin their campaign against Spain at the Arena Sosnowiec on Monday, 7 September.

Aduku’s side will also face China at the same venue three days later.

Nigeria will round off their group-stage campaign against New Caledonia at the Stadion Miejski ŁKS on Sunday, 13 September.
