Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala has collapsed on the pitch again, just days after suffering a similar incident during a pre-season friendly against RB Leipzig.
The German international reportedly went down minutes after being substituted on during Bayern Munich’s friendly against FC Heidenheim, according to Sky Germany via The Sun.
The 23-year-old was introduced during Bayern’s 4-2 victory but spent only eight minutes on the pitch before his latest worrying collapse.
Harry Kane shows quick thinking
Striker Harry Kane reportedly showed quick thinking after noticing Musiala go down, telling his teammates and the Heidenheim players to form a shield around the Bayern star.
Musiala eventually recovered and appeared to be fine as he was helped off the pitch by a team doctor.
Second collapse in three days
The incident came just three days after Musiala collapsed during Bayern’s pre-season friendly against RB Leipzig.
The playmaker appeared disorientated in the 83rd minute of that match, shortly after scoring to give Bayern a 3-1 lead.
He looked unsteady on his feet and held out his arms as he made his way to the ground.
Teammate Ismael Saibari reportedly sprinted over and caught him before he fell, while medics immediately rushed to assist the player.
Musiala recovered quickly, with Bayern’s team doctors giving a thumbs-up to indicate that he was okay.
He was subsequently helped off the pitch as fans at the stadium chanted his name.
The latest incident is likely to raise further concern around the Bayern Munich star after he suffered another collapse only days earlier.
