A 16-year-old boy was killed, and at least seven others were wounded in a series of shootings across Chicago on Tuesday night, according to Chicago Scanner reports and Chicago Police Department information.
The youngest was 13 years old.
LITTLE VILLAGE — 16-YEAR-OLD KILLED
At approximately 11:11 p.m. Tuesday, a 16-year-old boy was standing outside in the 2600 block of South Hamlin Avenue in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side when a vehicle drove past, and someone inside fired shots.
The teen was shot in the head and chest. He was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
No arrests have been reported.
SOUTH AUSTIN — THREE TEENS SHOT TWO CRITICALLY
At approximately 9:29 p.m. Tuesday, three teenagers were standing outside in the 200 block of South Central Avenue in the South Austin neighborhood on the West Side when a dark colored sedan drove past, and someone inside fired shots.
An 18-year-old boy was shot and transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
A 16-year-old boy was shot multiple times and transported to the same hospital in critical condition.
A third 16-year-old boy was found at the scene with a graze wound to the arm and declined treatment.
No arrests have been reported.
PULLMAN — TEEN SHOT IN BOTH LEGS
At approximately 10:16 p.m. Tuesday, a 17-year-old boy was standing outside in the 13200 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue in the Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side when he was shot in both legs.
He was transported to Comer Children’s Hospital in serious condition.
No arrests have been reported.
WEST PULLMAN — TEEN SHOT IN DRIVE-BY
At 8:23 p.m. Tuesday, a 16-year-old boy was standing outside in the 11700 block of South Normal Avenue in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side when several suspects got out of a car and opened fire before fleeing.
The teen was shot in the left forearm and grazed on the stomach. He was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition.
No arrests have been reported.
SOUTH DEERING — 16-YEAR-OLD GIRL SHOT
At approximately 12:37 a.m. Wednesday, a 16-year-old girl was shot in the left foot in the 10600 block of South Bensley Avenue in the South Deering neighborhood on the Far South Side.
She was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.
No arrests have been reported.

AUBURN GRESHAM — 13-YEAR-OLD SHOT INSIDE HOME
A 13-year-old boy was shot in the leg inside a home near 73rd Street and Emerald Avenue in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.
He is in good condition. No arrests have been reported.
CHATHAM — MAN SHOT DURING FIGHT
At 8:43 p.m. Tuesday, a 27-year-old man was shot in the arm during a fight near 73rd Street and Blackstone Avenue in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.
He is in good condition. No arrests have been reported.
NEAR WEST SIDE — MAN SHOT IN CHEST AND LEG
A 23-year-old man was shot in the chest and in the leg twice near Roosevelt Road and Jefferson Street on the Near West Side.
He is in serious condition. No arrests have been reported.
OVERNIGHT TOLL
One person was killed, and at least nine others were wounded across Chicago on Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning.
Seven of the victims were teenagers ranging in age from 13 to 18. No arrests have been reported in any of the incidents.
