Skyway Aviation Handling Company PLC (SAHCO) has renewed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) to enhance the efficiency, security and seamlessness of airport and cargo operations.

The commitment was expressed during a visit by SAHCO to the newly appointed Commander of the Customs Intelligence Unit (CIU), Airport Command, Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja, Lagos, AC Adamu.

The visit was aimed at consolidating the existing relationship between SAHCO and the NCS through improved communication, closer coordination and stronger operational cooperation, particularly in cargo handling and movement.

Representing the Managing Director/CEO of SAHCO, Mrs Adenike Aboderin, the General Manager, Cargo Services, Mr Donald Adekunle, welcomed the new CIU Commander, and assured him of the company’s readiness to sustain a cordial, professional and productive relationship with the Customs Service.

Adekunle expressed optimism that the partnership between the organisations would continue to deepen, stressing that effective collaboration among key aviation stakeholders and government agencies was critical to maintaining safe, secure and efficient airport operations.

He noted that stronger inter-agency synergy was particularly important to facilitating smooth cargo movement, strengthening security procedures and improving service delivery across Nigeria’s airports.
