The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Kano, Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi II, at the Rumfa Palace in Kano.

Sunday Telegraph gathered that the meeting took place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, amid heightened political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Confirming the development, a close associate of the Emir, Muhammad Dallatu, said Yilwatda held a closed-door meeting with Sanusi shortly after the monarch returned from Abuja.
