Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, housemates have been thrown into another tense eviction battle after a nomination twist forced them to publicly reveal who they wanted to save.

Unlike the usual nomination process, Monday’s exercise required housemates to make their choices in full view of their fellow contestants and explain the reasons behind them.

Following the regular Conspiracy Hour, each housemate received an envelope, pen and paper and was instructed to nominate two housemates they wanted to save. However, Big Brother added a twist by requiring them to read out their choices and justify them before the entire House.

The unusual process exposed alliances, friendships and loyalties, with housemates having to defend their decisions directly to those they had either chosen or left out.

At the end of the exercise, Sheba, Goddessa and Aikou emerged as the three housemates saved by their colleagues.

The decision, however, did not guarantee safety for all three.

As part of the twist, Head of House Chimsom Chuka was given the power to select one of them for immunity. Chuka chose Sheba, effectively leaving Goddessa and Aikou at the mercy of viewers.

With Sheba now safe, the eviction race has been narrowed to 14 housemates.

Those facing the public vote are Araga, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Gerard, Goddessa, Keivo, Nomy, Oyin, Ricky, Sultex, Temi Nkem, Tram and Yusuf.

Also enjoying immunity this week is Abi, who holds the title of Most Influential Player of the Week, while Chimsom remains protected as Head of House. Flora, identified as a gambit, is also excluded from the eviction list.

Chimsom Secures HOH for Second Time

Chuka’s victory marks his second Head of House win this season, further cementing his influence in the House.

His latest victory has already proved significant, as it gave him the decisive power to determine which of Sheba, Goddessa and Aikou would escape the public vote.

‘Topsy Turvy’ Week Begins

The latest developments come as Biggie introduces a new “Topsy Turvy” theme, promising to turn familiar routines, expectations and roles upside down.

The unusual nomination format appears to be part of that broader twist, forcing housemates to make strategic decisions openly rather than behind closed doors.

With 14 contestants now vulnerable, alliances and individual popularity are likely to come under intense scrutiny as the eviction approaches.

Voting is already open and will close at 9 p.m. on Thursday. Viewers can cast their votes through the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps or the Africa Magic website.
