Armed bandits have launched another violent assault in Zamfara State, killing three residents and abducting at least ten others in Taketsaba village, Talata Mafara Local Government Area.

Conflict analyst Bakastine, who reported the incident on his X handle, revealed that the victims included women and infants. 

Among those killed was Aliyu M. Taketsaba, a Civil Defence officer serving in Mafara Division. A primary school teacher, Tanimu Aliyu Takatsaba, was also confirmed to be among the abducted.

The attack has intensified fears in communities around Talata Mafara, where armed groups continue to terrorize residents. Bakastine had earlier raised alarms about the growing insecurity in the area, calling for urgent intervention.

As of press time, the Zamfara State Police Command has not issued an official statement, and the fate of the abducted victims remains uncertain.
