Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has sponsored Nigerian videographer Jeffrey Oboh-Oshioke, popularly known as Juicyjeff, to pursue filmmaking studies at the London Film Academy in the United Kingdom, according to the videographer.
Oboh-Oshioke, who creates behind-the-scenes and mobile videography content for Akindele, disclosed this in an Instagram post on Tuesday while announcing his arrival in London.
He expressed gratitude to Akindele for supporting his filmmaking ambitions, describing the opportunity as a new chapter in his career.

“My mummy, @funkejenifaakindele, out of her incredible generosity and genuine belief in me, has given me an opportunity I will never take for granted — to come to London and pursue my passion for filmmaking at the London Film Academy.
“Mummy, thank you for seeing something in me, believing in my potential and using your heart to open this door for me.
“Your support has moved this dream from a conversation to a real-life experience. Mummy, my God will bless and perfect all that concerns you in Jesus’ name. I will never take this for granted Ma,” he wrote.
Sharing a video documenting his journey from Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos to Gatwick Airport in London, Oboh-Oshioke said the trip marked the beginning of a new phase in his filmmaking journey.
He wrote, “So, this is not just another trip. It’s a new chapter, a new frame and definitely a bigger production!
“From Lagos to London, the camera keeps rolling… and I’m grateful for every scene.
“Now, enough talking…
“London Film Academy… LEGGO!”
Oboh-Oshioke is known for creating behind-the-scenes and mobile videography content around Akindele’s projects and activities.
Akindele is currently in the United Kingdom, where she has been spending time following the unveiling of her latest project, The Four.
The filmmaker has starred in and produced several Nollywood projects, including the Jenifa franchise, and has established herself as one of the prominent figures in Nigeria’s film industry.
