The Zamfara State First Lady, Hajiya Hurriya Dauda Lawal, has extended her warmest felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in the state and across Nigeria on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Maulud 2026, marking the blessed birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
In a statement issued by the Press Secretary to the Governor’s Wife, Hajiya Rabi Yusuf, Hajiya Huriyya encouraged the faithful to deeply reflect upon the timeless life, exemplary character and noble teachings of the Prophet, emphasising core virtues such as profound compassion, boundless forgiveness, steadfast patience, genuine humility and harmonious coexistence.
Highlighting the importance of collective progress and spiritual renewal, she called on every Muslim faithful to actively embody these gracious values in their everyday lives, thereby fostering a stronger foundation for united, peaceful, and thriving communities throughout the state.
Her Excellency further urged the good people of Zamfara State to utilise this auspicious season to actively strengthen the sacred bonds of brotherhood, demonstrate sincere kindness toward one another and extend generous support to the vulnerable and less privileged among us.
Reflecting on the profound significance of the celebration, Huriyya stated that the life of Prophet Muhammad remains a radiant, timeless beacon of kindness, patience and compassion.
She urged everyone to mirror these exceptional qualities within their families and wider communities, continually choosing peace and mutual understanding above all else.
She further noted her fervent hope that this blessed occasion will renew our shared commitment to national unity, religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence, while bringing divine mercy, divine guidance, and abundant blessings to every home in Zamfara State and across Nigeria.
She further offered heartfelt prayers for sustained peace, lasting stability and unprecedented prosperity throughout the state and the entire federation, wishing the entire Muslim Ummah a deeply peaceful, reflective and joyous Eid-el-Maulud celebration.
