The chairman National Population Commission (NPC) Dr. Aminu Yusuf Talban Wushishi is dead.
He reportedly died on Friday August 28, 2026 while the sad news of his demise got to Minna at about the time for Jumaat prayer.
The NPC chairman who was also a former secretary of the Niger state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was said to have died after a brief illness.
His death was confirmed to Blueprint.ng by former Chairman of PDP in the state, Barrister Tanko Benji.
He said, “Aminu is dead I am saddened and not in a good mood now”.
