The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has warned members of the public against a fraudulent “Letter of Provisional Offer of Employment” being circulated by individuals falsely claiming to represent the Authority.

FAAN, in a statement on X, said it was not currently conducting any recruitment exercise and had no connection with the employment letter or any related job offers being issued by unauthorised persons.

The Authority urged members of the public to disregard the purported employment offers and exercise caution to avoid falling victim to fraudsters.

It specifically advised job seekers and other members of the public not to make payments, provide personal information or engage with individuals issuing the fake offers.

FAAN said any genuine information concerning recruitment would be communicated through its official communication channels.

“The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) wishes to alert the public to a fraudulent “Letter of Provisional Offer of Employment” currently being circulated by unauthorised persons claiming to represent the Authority.

“Members of the public are advised not to make payments, provide personal information, or engage with individuals issuing such offers,” the statement read

The Authority also urged the public to verify employment-related information before taking any action, stressing the need for vigilance amid the circulation of the fraudulent document.

It reiterated that it remains committed to providing accurate and verified information to the public through its authorised channels.
