Today, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori officially commissioned the 31-kilometre Bomadi–Ohoro Road, describing the project as a major step toward transforming connectivity and economic life in riverine communities.

The Governor noted that the strategic road links several communities across multiple local government areas, significantly reducing travel time and improving access for agriculture, commerce, and social development. He emphasized that infrastructure development is key to enhancing livelihoods and integrating rural areas into the broader economy.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to equitable development, Governor Oborevwori stated that the project reflects government’s resolve to ensure no part of the state is left behind, regardless of terrain or location. He urged residents to safeguard the road and use it productively, stressing that sustainable development requires collective responsibility.
