Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has detailed his the Adeleke’s family tradition of getting an education abroad.

While speaking during an interview, the artist traced the practice back to his grandfather’s generation, explaining that his grandfather ensured his children received education abroad, particularly in the United States.

Davido also lauded international education, describing it as a culture that has been maintained within the family for decades.

“My grandfather was a senator, and most of his children were sent to America for their education. My dad went to university in Kentucky,” he said.
