Ify Okoye, wife of music executive Jude Okoye, has broken her silence amid the lingering controversy surrounding the Okoye family, saying she will not be drawn into public disputes or respond to accusations.

In a statement shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Ify said she had become aware of stories that had been twisted and manipulated in an apparent attempt to involve her in conflicts she neither created nor desired.

Rather than engage in public exchanges, she said she had chosen to leave the matter in God’s hands.

“I have become aware of stories that have been twisted and manipulated to draw me into disputes that I neither created nor desire. I will not respond by trading accusations or fueling public conflict. As a believer, I choose to let God be my witness, for He knows every conversation, every intention, and every truth hidden from human eyes,” she wrote.

Citing the biblical story of Ananias and Sapphira, Ify said while people may deceive others temporarily, no one can deceive God, whom she described as the righteous judge.

She added that she had no desire to defend herself before those committed to misunderstanding her, expressing confidence that truth would ultimately prevail.

“My prayer is not for judgment, but for mercy. May God bring conviction where it is needed, healing where there is brokenness, and peace where there is unrest,” she noted.
