Henry Okoye, the elder brother of Nigerian music duo P-Square, has alleged that Jude Okoye is responsible for some of the problems within the family, while expressing uncertainty over whether he used “juju” on his twin brother, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy.

Henry made the allegations in a now-viral interview while speaking about the prolonged rift involving his younger brothers, Jude, Paul and Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P.

According to him, he and his siblings are eight in number, comprising six boys and two girls, with Paul and Peter being the youngest.

Henry said he had been involved in supporting Paul and Peter from the early stages of their music career, particularly when they struggled to secure sponsors.

He recalled sponsoring the duo before Jude became involved in their music business and helping them attend performances across different states.

Henry said he also accompanied Paul and Peter to music events and provided security alongside his friends, adding that the family supported the twins as their music career began to gain traction.

He said Jude eventually joined the management of the group after the family initially expressed reservations about allowing him to take control.

According to Henry, their late mother was particularly familiar with Jude’s character and initially opposed the arrangement, but eventually agreed after another person involved with P-Square appealed to her.

Henry said the group later became successful financially, but he eventually noticed that Paul and Peter began distancing themselves from other members of the family.

He alleged that the family did not initially realise that Jude was behind the growing problems.

He said, “Jude is never a good person. He’s my brother. But he’s very bad. I’m telling you the truth.”

Henry also accused Jude of being uncaring towards some members of the family, including their younger sister, who he said was living in Lagos and struggling without sufficient support.

He, however, acknowledged that Peter had been making efforts to assist her.

Speaking about his relationship with Jude, Henry said the two brothers had not spoken to each other for nearly two years.

He said the estrangement continued even when he was hospitalised for two months last year, claiming that Peter and Paul contacted him during the period while Jude did not.

Henry described Paul as the nicest person in the family before his alleged change in behaviour, saying he was surprised by how the relationship between the brothers had deteriorated.

He then raised the possibility that Jude may have used juju on Paul, while stressing that he could not confirm the claim.

He said, “I don’t know if Jude used any juju on Paul. I don’t know. I cannot tell.”

Henry’s allegations come amid renewed controversy surrounding the long-running dispute within the Okoye family.

The latest development follows claims by Peter that Jude and Paul pressured his wife, Lola Okoye, to terminate her first pregnancy and questioned the paternity of the unborn child.

Peter made the allegations in the eighth episode of his ongoing video series documenting the family feud.

He also accused their late mother, Josephine Okoye, of confronting Lola during a family meeting at his Omole residence following the birth of his son.

Peter alleged that the meeting involved his mother, Jude, Paul, Tony and some pastors, claiming that Lola was asked to leave him and that the gathering escalated after derogatory remarks were allegedly made about her unborn child.

He further alleged that Jude and Paul attempted to convince Lola to terminate her pregnancy after questioning the paternity of the child.

According to Peter, their mother later accepted that the child was his biological son and instructed his brothers to apologise, but he said the apology did not happen before her death.
