Mr P, who owns the lifestyle and streetwear brand Zipp Republic, disclosed this in a post on X on Monday while thanking fans for the overwhelming response to the cap.

“Guys, we honestly didn’t see this coming. Almost 3,000 Red ZR CAPS sold in the last seven days and more orders still pumping in every second,” he wrote.

The singer said the brand was currently overwhelmed by the volume of orders and appealed to customers to be patient with deliveries.

“We are overwhelmed with orders right now, so please be a little patient with us. We promise every single order will be delivered ASAP,” he added.

Mr P also hinted at plans to expand Zipp Republic’s product range to include gym wear, sportswear and clothing for children.

The Red ZR Snapback Hat is currently sold for ₦20,000 on the brand’s official store, reduced from its original price of ₦45,000.

The surge in sales comes amid heightened public interest in Mr P’s ongoing tell-all series, which began on July 30 and has seen him revisit the events surrounding the repeated breakups of P-Square and the family’s long-running financial dispute.

The series has triggered widespread reactions from fans, who have taken sides in the renewed dispute involving Mr P, his twin brother, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, and their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye.

Meanwhile, Mr P recently recorded a milestone on the music charts, with his song “I Can’t Look Away” debuting at number 151 on the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs chart on August 8.

The entry marks the first solo chart appearance by either P-Square member since the duo’s split.
