“You’re Delusional”: Ozedikus on living comfortably in Lagos

Nigerian music executive Igbinoba Osaze, popularly known as Ozedikus, has weighed in on the discussion surrounding luxury and comfort in Lagos.

The producer, while speaking via his X handle, claimed that chasing comfort in Lagos is a delusional race. He explained that he believes the point of living in Lagos is to make money, stressing that Lagos is a place for hustle.

”The point of being in Lagos is to make money and leave, it’s you people that want to live a comfortable life here that are delusional,” he stated.

His statement, however, stirred mixed reactions from other users, with some arguing that comfort should not be location bound.

”People have the right to live comfortably irrespective of location. If you can create your own comfort even in a desert please don’t hesitate,” one user, domingo_loso wrote.

Another user, Joey_d, agreed with Ozedikus, claiming that living in the city reduces people’s lifespan.

”Exactly…the only thing the damn city does is reduce your lifespan,” he said.
