Renowned filmmaker, actress, and producer Funke Akindele is gearing up for her next major cinematic release with the upcoming feature film, The Four: No One Fights Alone.

Slated to hit global cinemas on December 11, 2026, the project is produced under the Funke Akindele Network (FAAN TV) and will be exclusively distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, marking another milestone for one of Africa’s leading commercial filmmakers.

​Described as a powerful and emotionally charged drama, Funke Akindele’s new movie honours friendship, motherhood, resilience, and the immense strength found in ordinary women.

Set against the backdrop of the picturesque Odu community and the bustling energy of the city, The Four follows Esosa and three fiercely loyal women whose dedication to a young man they love puts their courage, faith, and unity to the ultimate test.

True to Akindele’s signature style, the movie highlights Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage through vibrant music, fashion, language, and tradition, all wrapped in a compelling narrative of sacrifice and hope.
