The Lagos State Police Command has declared two men wanted in connection with the murder of a woman and the removal of her body in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.

The suspects were identified as 32-year-old Folawiyo Alagbado and 33-year-old Ajibola Obateru, both of whom have their last known addresses in Ibadan, Oyo State. The command made this known in separate wanted-person bulletins shared on its X handle on Wednesday.

According to the police, the suspects allegedly conspired with others to attack the victim, killed her and took her body to an unknown location. The victim’s personal belongings were also reportedly stolen by the fleeing suspects and their accomplices.

The police said the crime was committed in the Ikoyi axis of Lagos.

Alagbado was described as a 32-year-old Yoruba man of average height, with an oval face, wide nose, long-wide mouth, medium lips, white eyes, dark complexion, round chin, normal hair and smooth forehead. He was said to dress decently, with his last known address listed as Ibadan, Oyo State.

Obateru was described as a 33-year-old Yoruba man, 5.9ft tall with a thin build, oval face, long nose, small mouth, thin lips, black eyes, fair complexion, pointed chin, thick black hair and a high forehead. The police said he appears gentle and dresses decently, with Ibadan, Oyo State, also listed as his last known address.

The command urged anyone with information on the whereabouts of either suspect to report to the nearest police station or the Office of the Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Musiliu Smith Street, Panti, Yaba, Lagos.

Members of the public who encounter either suspect were advised not to take the law into their own hands but to immediately alert the police.
