Big Brother Naija ‘Show Ya Sef’ housemate Neche has voluntarily withdrawn from the reality television show, weeks after entering the competition and becoming one of the notable contestants in the house.

Neche announces withdrawal from BBNaija

Neche, who served as the Head of House for the week, announced her decision to the remaining housemates in the lounge shortly after Sunday’s live eviction show.

Her announcement came as a surprise to the other contestants, who were not expecting her to leave the competition voluntarily.

The housemate subsequently removed her microphone and name tag before entering the diary room, where she completed the formal process for her departure from the reality show.

Her decision brings an unexpected end to her journey on the 11th season of Big Brother Naija.

Withdrawal follows Kamsy’s eviction

Neche’s voluntary exit came on the same night that fellow housemate Kamsy was evicted from the ‘Show Ya Sef’ house.

Kamsy became the latest contestant to leave the competition following the public voting process and Sunday’s live eviction show.

Her eviction marked the third eviction of the season, following the earlier removal of Martins and Mercedes on August 9.

The successive departures have continued to reshape the house as the remaining contestants battle for a place in the grand finale and the ultimate prize.

Flora, Aikou emerge as ‘The Gambits’

The live show also featured another major development as housemates Flora and Aikou were selected by public votes as ‘The Gambits’.

The pair secured places in the grand finale through a game mechanic that has not been disclosed to the other contestants.

Their selection adds another layer of uncertainty to the competition, with the remaining housemates yet to fully understand how the development could affect the outcome of the season.

BBNaija season 11 contestants compete for ₦160m

The 11th season of Big Brother Naija premiered on July 26, with 24 contestants entering the house to compete for the grand prize.

The season, tagged ‘Show Ya Sef’, has continued to attract attention from viewers with its nominations, evictions, twists and other developments.

With Neche now out of the competition alongside the evicted housemates, the number of contestants continues to reduce as the show progresses towards its finale.

The eventual winner of the season is expected to take home the grand prize of ₦160 million.

Neche’s voluntary withdrawal adds another unexpected twist to a season that has already witnessed multiple evictions and the introduction of ‘The Gambits’.
