The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has cautioned President Bola Tinubu to urgently address Nigerians’ grievances ahead of the 2027 general election, warning that failure to do so could jeopardize his chances of re-election.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele said many citizens were dissatisfied with the current administration and could use the ballot box to express their anger.

He alleged that individuals close to the president were deceiving him into believing all was well, while merely seeking financial gain.

“Tinubu is very desperate; he has not done what Nigerians want, and people surrounding him are deceiving him. They only want to eat his money,” Ayodele declared.

The cleric further warned that party members who failed to secure tickets would likely work against Tinubu’s emergence in 2027.

He suggested that a coalition of opposition figures, including Atiku Abubakar, could unseat the president if he failed to act decisively.

Ayodele also cautioned against relying on electoral malpractice, insisting that attempts to rig the polls would be resisted. “All the plans to rig will be resisted by Nigerians. The election is going to be tough. Don’t expect it to be free and fair. The party needs to pacify Nigerians; otherwise, all the magic will not work,” he said.
