The executive chairman of Nsukka local government area of Enugu state, Hon. Jude Asogwa has asserted that come 2027 governorship election, the people of his council area will vote massively for Gov. Peter Mbah to do a second term in office.
Asogwa who made the declaration at Ihe Community, when members of the Enugu State Correspondents Chapel paid a monitoring visit, said the only way they could reciprocate Mbah’s achievement in the state, especially in Nsukka council areas, was to vote massively for him as a show of gratitude.

Enumerating other development projects such as roads and the Type 2 hospitals as well as the appointing of an Nsukka indigene as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, (UNN), for the first time, Asogwa said that his people would overwhelming cast their vote for Mbah to continue with his good works.
The excited chairman also pointed out the ongoing dualising of Opi- Ugwuogo-Nsukka Road and the establishment of a N1billion Oxygen Plant in Nsukka as some of the development infrastructure projects that the council area could not overlook, stressing that Mbah deserved gratitude.
“In 2027, we in Nsukka are going to show gratitude to Governor Mbah by voting him massively. We can’t thank His Excellency enough. We have taken a decision that in 2027, we are going to show gratitude to the governor,” he re-iterated.
