Prestige Assurance Plc has formally accepted the resignation of Girija Subramanian as a non-executive director of the company.

The decision was approved at a meeting of the insurer’s board held on 18 August, 2026, in Lagos.

In a notice filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Thursday and signed by the company secretary, Chidinma Ibe-Louis, Prestige Assurance said Subramanian’s resignation took effect from 31 July 2026.

The board expressed appreciation to the former director for her service and contributions to the company during her tenure.

It also acknowledged her support towards the growth of the insurer and wished her well in her future endeavours.
